Jadeite Totem
Totems are symbolic of the scared connection between the realms of heaven and earth. In China, Jade is considered to be a living stone. I selected use Jade nephrite stones which are metamorphic rock made up of tiny interlocking mineral crystals as it has been used since prehistoric times for hard stone carving. Jade, like all things from nature, is imbued with qi, the life force that flows through and around all living things. Jade is known to improve the fengshui of your home and is described as being ying or yang depending on the colour. The darker the green, the more powerful the Yang energy.
The bronze seedpods in the totem are the Kalahari Cucumber and the Mahogany.
